MessageDesk is broken into 4 core sections that we will go over below.

Inbox

This is where you send and receive text messages from individual contacts

From here you can quickly see open & closed messages, conversations assigned to you, or scheduled texts.

Contacts

This is where you create, edit, and group your contacts. You can add contacts one at a time, upload them in bulk or sync them from your Quickbooks or Xero account.

You can store unlimited contacts in MessageDesk

Once you upload contacts into MessageDesk you'll be able to store important information with their profile. By default, you can store a contact's email, address, phone number, and company information with MessageDesk.

If contacts have specific fields not listed above you can use custom fields to customize the profile of each of your contacts. These custom fields can later be used to personalize your messaging via tags.

Groups

Groups are a sub-section of contacts. You can create as many different groupings of contacts as you want.

There are two different types of groups: Smart Groups & Static Groups. You can learn more about each group here

Groups let you organize contacts so you can text them without reply-all. To text a group simply go to Broadcasts and click "New Broadcast".

Note: MessageDesk lets you have unlimited groups. Each group can also have unlimited members

Where you send one-way broadcasts to contact groups.
